Montaudio - Arapuni PH MKII - Prestige Power Cable

Montaudio - Arapuni PH MKII - Prestige Power Cable

Drawing its strength from the Arapuni Power Plant, New Zealand's largest and oldest renewable hydroelectric station, the Arapuni PH MKII Prestige Power Cable embodies innovation, resilience, and enduring performance. Continuing the legacy of its acclaimed predecessor, the Arapuni PH-1, this upgraded power cable is meticulously engineered to ensure unwavering power delivery to the most demanding high-performance audio systems.

Crafted with exceptional precision, the Arapuni PH MKII employs a refined blend of Monocrystalline Copper combined with Silver-Plated and Non-Plated High Purity Copper in varied core diameters. Each conductor is individually insulated with premium Polyethylene (PE) dielectric to enhance electrical insulation. The bundles are further reinforced with a layer of premium PVC dielectric, strengthening electrical integrity and long-term stability. This carefully formulated composition optimises conductivity, minimises resistance, and enhances dynamic response, delivering clean, consistent power for uncompromising audio performance.

To ensure unwavering power delivery, the Arapuni PH MKII incorporates a robust dual-layer construction, combining Copper Foil with precision-wound Silver-Plated Braiding. This engineered design maintains an exceptionally quiet, pitch-black background, which allows your audio system to deliver deeper lows, enriched midrange, and captivating clarity.

Completing its distinctive design, the cable is finished in a sleek black braided jacket, exuding refined elegance. A hand-polished, laser-engraved Solid Walnut Wood ring proudly signifies Montaudio’s signature craftsmanship, blending technical excellence with timeless beauty.

The Arapuni PH MKII is factory-terminated with premium audiophile-grade connectors, available in multiple configurations, including AU/NZ, BS 1363, EU SCHUKO and US 3-Pin into IEC C15.

Power, Precision, Purity – Harness the strength of the Arapuni PH MKII, where engineering mastery meets sonic refinement.

Montaudio was founded in Auckland, New Zealand in late 2013 by a group of like-minded audiophiles who shared a single conviction: that the cables, racks, and accessories supporting a high-end audio system matter as much as the components themselves — and that nothing on the market was good enough. Rather than accept that compromise, they set out to build their own. What emerged was a brand defined by an ethos as much as a product range: Pure, Natural, Simple, Elegance. That philosophy is embedded in every decision Montaudio makes, from the materials selected to the names given to each product — every one of which is drawn from New Zealand's extraordinary natural landscape. The Manuka, the Tongariro, the Wanaka, the Rakaia, the Chatham: each name is a small piece of the country that made the brand, carried into listening rooms around the world. ENGINEERING PHILOSOPHY Montaudio's engineering approach begins with a principle that is straightforward to state but demanding to execute: that anything in the signal path or physical environment of an audio system that introduces noise, vibration, or interference is an enemy of music — and that eliminating these influences requires purpose-built solutions, not afterthoughts. Their cables are constructed around polyethylene dielectrics on the main conductors, copper and silver-plated copper cores, fully shielded with copper or aluminium foil against the electromagnetic interference that pervades modern listening environments. Natural cotton filler is used within each cable for additional vibration damping, and walnut wood — chosen specifically for its acoustic damping properties — features throughout the range as both an aesthetic signature and a functional material. Connectors are designed in-house with solid single-piece conductors, hand-terminated by skilled technicians using temperature-controlled soldering and cold-welding processes that preserve the crystalline structure of the metal at the contact point. The Manuka MR Reference HiFi Rack takes the vibration control philosophy further still: solid walnut and birch plywood shelves incorporating the proprietary Montaudio Vibration Isolation Pillar (MVIP) — a machined stepped-honeycomb pattern that forces vibrational energy downward and dissipates it through the material boundary layers, rather than allowing it to reach the equipment above. Every element of the Montaudio range is designed to do one thing: get out of the way of the music
