YG Acoustics was founded in Colorado in 2002 by Yoav Geva, an engineer whose background in precision

machining led him to a conclusion that few loudspeaker designers are willing to act on: that truly accurate sound

reproduction requires tolerances measured in thousandths of an inch, and that the only way to achieve this is to

machine every critical component from solid aluminium billet — in-house, under complete control. The name

itself is simply his initials. The ambition is anything but simple.
